As we come to the year's end we want to reflect on the best of 2015 wedding trends. We gathered the top hairstyle and makeup designs we created for our brides and bridesmaids that made a grand entry into the chapel. This year was full of beautiful designs and we were so thrilled to be a part of so many of those beautiful moments. Here are our Top Bridal Beauty trends of 2015.
THE BRAIDED UPDO
When in doubt, just get a braid. It is a fun way of adding texture and interest to your style. Many bridesmaids choose to wear a braid in their hair. The braid can be created in numerous ways to match the personality and style of the dress. We think the braid looks best with lighter colored hair.

In this photo, the girl is wearing a fishtail braid that is created in a halo patterned, like a headband. It is a little fuzzy, however that is quite the trend and looks like we will see this type of fun braid still in 2016!

This blonde model is wearing one of my favorite braided designs of 2015. It shows a fun romantic look as it drapes off to one side. Also, notice how there are loose bits that are dangling down by her ear to give her updo a softer look.
Below, is another example of a beautiful braided design, which suites a multi-tonal blonde very well. It looks very intricate and we think it's perfect for a bridesmaid!

In the photo below notice how the braids are a bit more structured, yet they still are not as visible as they appear on blonde hair. Keep this in mind when selecting your hair design, if you have darker hair try not to add too much textured detail, as it will just get lost. I believe this was a lovely trend of 2015, however this look might have to stay there.

The organic chignon accompanied by bling, was a hot Bridal Trend of 2015. This design paired perfectly with the Bride who desired an elegant and romantic style. This Bride typically was girly and a natural beauty. It has been a popular design the past few years but its organic texture we say is here to stay for 2016!

Lastly, we saw the simple beauty of curls and long locks. The trend of the really long hair we predict will be fading away in 2016. Yippee! Although, this beauty is just breath taking with her soft curls shifting off to the side. We saw many larger parties choosing to have all their bridesmaids wearing the same hairstyle and dresses for a elegant theme.
In 2015, the makeup look was all about glowing skin, lots of blush, and black full lashes. Many brides realized in the planning stages of their wedding that their health and beauty needed to be first on their to do list, however stress often happens to rule when women are getting married. The days of the instabeauty has really distorted our perception of makeup and reality. We saw many requests that we believed were overly made up. A bride should look like the best version of herself, although occasionally some brides wanted to look like these models in this post (we don't blame you, they are gorgeous!). These were the number one photos that were brought our way to recreate for our brides. We loved these designs, but have a feeling things will lighten up more in 2016.

Soft Smokey Eyes paired with a pinky nude lip ruled the bridal makeup trend in 2015. We also loved this beautiful updo paired with this makeup look. Absolutely gorgeous!

2015 was a Bridal Beauty success! We loved all of these hot trends and believe some will stay, while others will thankfully go. A new year always calls for a new trend. Thank you for reading and keep posted on our future blog posts where we will search the hottest trends that will be ringing in the New Year for weddings.
